Flowery decorations have always been trendy, either it’s been on clothes one season, or jewellery the other. You can always find this pattern on curtains, as well as on vintage wallpapers. I personally can accept it really tiny and on baby clothes only. However it is not my “fairy tale”, I am aware that many of you love this flowery style in household decorations.
Even though, this Egg Cartons Decorative Mirror made by Johanna from Better Homes and Gardens is all about flowers, I could try this project and have some fun with it. As we don’t eat eggs at all, I would have to ask my neighbour to store those cartons for me in case I want to make such recycled mirror frame for my Mom’s birthday.
Don’t be discouraged by the number of tools you’ll have to use to complete this craft. It is actually worth to prepare all supplies very carefully as it’ll only help you gain this amazing effect. After finishing, don’t forget to throw the rest of cartons to recycling bins. As you can see, recycling doesn’t have to be boring. Both, Ombre Spoon Mirror, and this one out of egg cartons are examples of creative crafts that literally reflect your attitude to ecology.
