Do you know the dilemma – ‘to throw or not to throw’ the items you don’t need any more but feel sorry to get rid of? By ‘throw’ I mean putting it into a recycling bin, of course. I bet you do, as much as I and my family. What I didn’t realize until the era of the great D.I.Y projects accessible via the internet that I’ve got too many useless things I’ve no idea how to reuse. The Toilet Paper Roll Race Cars, the Multi-Colored Crayons, the Unpaired Glove Chipmunk, we posted here some time ago, are the examples.
I can add the Cookie-Tin Box for Tea Bags to that list, today. I found it on ‘more than Chic’ blog where the great photos are the tutorial itself since the original one is in Spanish. What a fantastic feeling to know finally what to do with all that cookie tins, which I have collected to many just to store the home made biscuits only. And I’ve got 2 problems solved in one beautiful and useful D.I.Y. box for tea bags, now: one – reusing of cookie tins and the second – preventing our favourite and different kinds of tea bags from evaporating.
Probably, there is no need to add that you can choose patterns and colours best suited your aesthetic tastes. You can also use it, like the author of this D.I.Y post already stated, as a gift and then fill it, both, with the tea bags and the made-by-you cookies. Feel free to decorate it however you like, but DO not forget to show us the pictures on our fb.
