Cardboard Cat Scratcher

Make a scratching pad for your cat using cardboard strips.
There is nothing more frustrating for a cat owner that scratched furniture. We live with Karol the cat under one roof and have recently bought some new furniture. After years of squeezing on one, leather-like, and truly small sofa, we have finally bought our dreamed one, cosy, soft and wide. Although we didn't bother about the old one, (it was actually all scratched), there was no way Karol would damage the new one.

Each time we tried to give him a store scratcher, he proudly passed it by as if it had been nothing particularly interesting for a cat...As I have noticed he loves laying on and hiding in cardboard boxes, I thought Cardboard Cat Scratcher made by June from planetstorejune.com, will not be missed by him in his daily hygiene rituals. June's cat looks almost the same as Karol, so there is a hope he will use this simple project, appreciating days of cardboard strips cutting.

I believe there are more of us living with naughty, scratchy, fury, creatures that keep on ignoring scratchers from the store. If you are one of those, don't hesitate to follow June's guide and make this awesome and easy cardboard scratcher, and share the results with us below.
