All fans of potted plants would love them to stun the whole world. And thanks to succinic acid this mission is definitely possible.

    The magic of amber

Few people have heard of succinic acid. Its greatest concentration is present in amber (8%), which makes it the best source of the substance. It is also present in honey, apple vinegar and white wine.

    A perfect fertilizer

It is available in the form of tablets, crystals or white scentless powder. Although it does not work like most fertilizers do, it is very effective when it comes to plant growth stimulation and:

    removing toxins from the soil,

    • acceleration of blooming process,

    • increasing resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage,

    • making seedlings develop roots faster and more easily,

    • the nutrients present in soil are absorbed more easily,

    • the new shoots and leaves form much faster.

    A potion to stimulate growth

Succinic acid is quite universal and you can use to nourish almost all kinds of potted plants, especially orchids. To prepare this healthy solution you need to dissolve a tablet of succinic acid in 2.5 liters of water. Use it to water your plants every two weeks. You can also spray it onto your plants’ leaves (every three weeks). They will be more shiny and elastic.

    Supporting rooting

Succinic acid is also effective when it comes to rooting of new seedlings. Put them in water solution of the acid for 30 minutes. You can do the same with seeds and bulbs, it’s just they have to stay in the solution for 2 hours.
